Programme terms

Anyone with a TingCloud account gets up to £75 as a credit off your next Ting invoice — or as an e-gift voucher if you're not a Ting client for each friend who becomes a qualifying client. The friend gets 50% off their first 3 months on a monthly Ting Accounting & Tax package.

Who can refer: Anyone aged 18 or over with a TingCloud account — you don't need to be a Ting client. Ting employees, contractors, partner firms and professional introducers (who have their own agreement with us) aren't eligible. You can't refer yourself, a business you own or control, a business you work for (unless that business knows and agrees), or anyone who is already a Ting client or in discussion with Ting.
How a referral counts: Your friend must create their TingCloud account using your personal link. A referral can't be added to an account afterwards.
When it qualifies: Your friend must sign up to one of our Starter, Standard and Premium monthly Limited Company packages, complete our onboarding and identity checks, and pay for their first 3 months. Self Assessment, one-off work, Ting Legal, Ting Pay and other services don't count.
What you get: A reward for each qualifying friend, based on the package they join (Starter £25, Standard £50, Premium £75). There's no limit on how many friends you can refer. If you're a Ting client, it's a credit on your Ting account: it's taken off your next package invoice automatically, and Direct Debit or card only collects what's left. If the credit is more than that invoice, the rest carries forward to your following invoices until it's used up — it doesn't expire. The credit has no cash value and can't be transferred. If you're not a client, it's an e-gift voucher of the same value, sent to the email address on your TingCloud account.
What your friend gets: 50% off their first 3 months on a monthly Ting Accounting & Tax package, subject to the usual eligibility, scope and terms of that offer.
Tax: Vouchers and credits from this programme may count as taxable income for you. If they do, declaring them is your responsibility.
Other Ting services: Your link covers our Accounting & Tax packages. If your friend needs another Ting service — business set-up, marketing, IT & AI, research, HR or workspace — send us a referral application from your Refer a Friend page, with your friend's agreement. If we win the work, you get a one-off commission of 10% of what your friend pays for the first project or engagement (excluding VAT). It's based on payment actually received, and paid 3 months after your friend pays, provided there's been no refund. Later or repeat work doesn't earn a further commission. Sharing your link: Only share your link with people you know who you think would genuinely be interested. Please don't post it on coupon or deal sites, or send it to people you don't know. Ting will never contact anyone using details you give us.
Our checks: Every referred client goes through our standard onboarding, including anti-money-laundering and identity checks. A referral doesn't change or shorten those checks, and we can refuse to take on any client.
Fair use: We may withhold or reverse a reward if we reasonably believe the referral wasn't genuine, or if the friend's fees are refunded or unpaid. We may change or end the programme with reasonable notice; rewards already earned will be honoured.
